Title: Registered Victvs Invigilator

Work place: Professional training centres in over 60 countries.

Pay: Your rate of pay is hourly and is agreed prior to any commitment of work being issued.

Work time:  Working hours on any day of the week including weekends and public holidays.  Invigilators will be informed at least 7 days before their next examination session.

Role Description:

To oversee and supervise candidates during written examinations.

To ensure that all procedures and instructions are followed in order to protect the integrity and security of the examinations and examination materials.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of assessment room and examination materials
  • Recording and checking candidate identification
  • Communicating the examination process and instructions to all candidates
  • Distributing the examination materials
  • Supervising examinations to ensure that they are carried out in accordance with our specified instructions and standards
  • Marking examination papers (if required)
  • Completing examination and candidate documentation
  • Recording candidate grades and results
  • Allow candidates to re-sit examinations if necessary
  • Receiving and returning examination materials

Based at: Head office, Leeds city centre

Starting Date:  November 2016

Hours:  Flexible (office hours are 0900 – 1730)

Role type:  Temporary, part-time

Company outline:  We are a rapidly expanding education and training company opening a new office in Leeds city centre.  We provide a wide variety of services including Learning Management System development and high-stakes examination invigilation all over the world.  We are offering flexible internship opportunities to University of Leeds students who are interested in supplementing their studies with real-world, professional experience of international work in education and training.

Job purpose:

Support the company’s core activities through conducting research, assisting with the implementation of company management systems and other office-based tasks as required.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Reporting to the regional managers and general manager
  • Carrying out targeted research into client locations
  • Assisting with international recruitment
  • Other office administration duties as required

Person Specification:
